eSpace Talks: Tune in to Our First Podcast

19

Web 2.0 is an amazing thing; people everywhere partake in the miracle of communication to share knowledge, ideas, and fun. In the world of blogging and podcasting, no little piece of knowledge is kept secret and anyone with a question is almost certain to find an answer. Which is why it is sad that with so much free access to delivering and obtain knowledge, Arabic content is quite scarce.

eSpace has been around for quite sometime, and over our multi-year journey we have accumulated a fair amount of knowledge and technical expertise, and we are now aware that it is our chance to give back. But being eSpace, we can't just give back in an ordinary way; it has to be special!

Welcome to what seems to be the first Arabic Technology podcast. It is short, concise, to the point, but that is just the beginning! As we discover what podcasting may hold for us, be sure to listen in and offer us criticism and ideas. We are exploring a new realm and your queries may be just the push forward that we need.

In our first episode, get ready to discover the basic tenants of Ruby as our developer, Haitham Mohammad, takes you through a journey of what makes Ruby different and special. Tune in next time for Amr Ghoneim's episode on Rails.

Thank you Haitham Mohammad for the podcast, iam in my way learning Ruby from Apress: beginning ruby from novice to professional, and what i like most about it is that it shares alot of flexibility concepts with JavaScripts like ovveriding and adding on the native Classes, and i gone crazy when i found you can even ovveride the + operator which is treated as a normal method .
keep on guys

رائع
A very nice capsule about Ruby that cleared its basic concepts in less than 10 minutes , Wow ! I didn't get that when I scanned its article on wikipedia twice before.., what I'm waiting from the next session is why I should use rails instead of other technologies like php or .net..., or at least which of them is suitable for what ?

I'm eager to hear more from you guys not only techie things but also your experience with web 2.0 business and meowns

keep up the good work and the good initiatives !
