An Introduction to iGoogle Gadget Development: A Session

You don't have to work at Google to develop an iGoogle gadget; with the right information and tools you go after it yourself! Google and eSpace combine forces as eSpace's Haitham Mohammad conducts a session on how to develop an iGoogle gadget as part of Google's lecture series, Google Tech Talks, at the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University.
The session will cover the following areas:

Gadget development basics

Open Social initiative

Gadgets API in depth

A simple demo
The session will be on the 28th of February and is open to all students of the Computer Engineering department at Alexandria University without registration.
About Haitham:
Haitham is a web developer at eSpace. He graduated in 2007 and has been mainly developing web applications in Ruby on Rails since then. He's also familiar with developing applications for social frameworks like Facebook and Open Social. He has a special passion for Ruby and JavaScript.
